Strike First Guardian comes from Strike First Fitness, Inc. — an Atlanta self-defense and personal safety training company founded in 2012 with one mission: help people learn how to get home safe.

Meet the founder

Troy Logan

Troy has been a martial arts and self-defense professional for nearly 30 years. He is a lifelong self-defense and personal safety instructor with a passion for teaching others, and a certified Health Educator dedicated to helping people reach their health and wellness potential.

He is the author of the self-published book Self Defense for Anyone, Anytime, and Anywhere, and in 2012 he started Strike First Fitness, Inc. (DBA Strike First Self Defense) to help people, through education and training, learn how to get home safe.

Strike First Self Defense focuses on self-defense and personal safety training with real-life, practical applications. Using techniques and movements drawn from Krav Maga and other fighting disciplines, we built a complete system for self-protection.

Strike First Guardian puts that system in your pocket. The awareness lessons, scenarios and technique videos in the app come from the same instruction we teach in person — paired with tools like one-tap SOS, live location and a safety timer for the moments when awareness alone isn’t enough.
